About the Babe and Dick Chaney Memorial Golf Tournament:

Each year, we gather together for an exciting day of golf, food, drinks and awards to help raise money for the Babe & Dick Chaney Memorial Fund.  Historically, the Babe and Dick Chaney Memorial Golf Tournament has supported the American Cancer Society. However, starting in 2020, the tournament proceeds began supporting Chaney’s initiative to start a new youth community center in Southern Maryland.

Because of our generous sponsors over the years, the Babe and Dick Chaney Memorial Fund has evolved tremendously, allowing us to pursue these additional charitable projects and passions. We are still committed to continuing our contributions to cancer research and treatment services. Since the inception of the Chaney Foundation, through our various events, we are proud to say we have been able to establish substantial endowment funds for The American Cancer Society. We couldn’t have built this solid foundation without you.

Tournament Schedule

8:00 AM Registration Begins
8:00 – 8:45 AM Breakfast and Coffee Available
8:15 AM Optional Putting Contest
9:00 AM Shotgun Start
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Lunch at the Mid-Course Grill
2:00 PM Approximate End of Play Followed by Light Appetizers and Awards
