Each February, Chaney Enterprises looks forward to visiting the South County Pre-Kindergarten Co-Op in Davidsonville, MD. Concrete Mixer Drivers, Ty Collins and Steve Waclawski, along with Media & Event Planner, Madison Sloan, teach students the basics of concrete. Students have the opportunity to identify concrete applications in real-life, touch different kinds of aggregates, and color in Chaney coloring books.

After the classroom portion, the students and teachers head outside for a touch-a-truck experience with a Chaney concrete mixer! Students learn all about the various equipment on a concrete mixer and even have a chance to sit inside the cab. Decked out with their own kid-sized hard hats and safety glasses, each kindergartener takes their turn blaring the horn on the concrete mixer truck. We are already looking forward to next year’s visit!
